Dr. Sarni Jain is a passionate Researcher and Teacher by Profession. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Arts from University of Jammu. Her Doctoral Research is in the area of Behavioural Economics, that integrates risk perception and psychological factors to examine the investment decisions of Indian investors. She is the recipient of the award for Best PhD scholar of O.P Jindal Global University in 2018. As a part of her responsibilities at Jindal, she is currently offering a course on Behavioural Economics, which was introduced for the first time in O.P Jindal Global University by her in 2019.

Her current research interests include judgement and decision making, emotions and economic behaviour, experimental economics and behavioural economics. She is currently working on article that explains the importance of understanding emotions in economic decision making. She has been an active learner in National workshops on Research Methodologies and Software Applications. She has presented her work in many national and international conferences where she has been highly appreciated. Apart from her academic interest she also focuses on improving quality of life through sports and meditation.
