ELDBRE:CELEBRATING OUR AGING BRAIN

In collaboration with Samvedna Senior Care (Gurugram)

JIBS would like to acknowledge the recognition received from the International Brain Research Organisation (IBRO) and the DANA Foundation for the Brain Awareness Campaign!

Every year, the world celebrates the Brain Awareness Week (BAW) in the month of March. The aim of BAW is to spread awareness about the functioning of our brains. This year, Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS) has the honour of being a part of the celebrated global campaign. JIBS will be hosting the brain awareness campaign in the month of March with a special focus on the geriatric population. To honour our elderly, we will be working closely with caregivers, family members, geriatric population and other interested people to talk more about the ageing brain. We call our series of events, ‘EldBre’. We endeavour to host a variety of activities, as a part of ‘EldBre’, like quizzes, competitions, workshops and lectures. These activities will invite interested parties and people to engage with us to know more.

When we know more and do away with our misconceptions, we can provide better care and assist our elderly to lead fulfilled lives.
