The 16th Asian Postgraduate Course on Victimology, Victim Assistance and Criminal Justice (16 APGC) is organized by the Center for Victimology and Psychological Studies (CVPS) of O.P. Jindal Global University (OP JGU), in cooperation with the World Society of Victimology (WSV) and the City University of Hong Kong from 4th-14th June 2018 at the City University of Hong Kong. In the first part of the Course (4th to 10th June) participants will get an introduction to the social science of Victimology by well-known victimologists. In the second part (10th afternoon – 14th June) participants will attend the 16th WSV International Symposium on Victimology at the City University of Hong Kong. Both events, the Postgraduate Course and the WSV International Symposium, are independent events. And so, separate registration and payment are needed. To qualify for the prestigious Post Graduate Course Certificate, students should participate in both the Postgraduate Course and the Symposium along with the paper presentation for the course (paper presented at the symposium will also suffice to meet the course requirements).
The registration fee for the participants of the 16 APGC is 175 USD. The first 30 applicants shall get a reduction of 50 USD in the course fee. Participants have to take care of their own accommodation and food arrangements. The City University cafeteria provides food at reasonable prices in direct neighborhood to the APGC classroom.
