The Institute is dedicated to engaging in behavioural science research that is multi-disciplinary and empirical in nature. JIBS primary focus is on applied and experimental research in the areas of mental health, competency mapping, neurosciences, neural decision sciences, psychobiology, management sciences, forensic studies, social psychology and criminal behaviour.
We work with top researchers from different disciplines and in collaboration with national and international researchers to address critical issues in human behaviour from a multi-disciplinary perspective. JIBS has covered an evolutionary journey to establish an Institute in Asia that conducts and applies best behavioural and social science practices in innovation, education, research, scholarship, and clinical care. We aspire to develop the Institute into an icon of quality training which meets global standards
We are at the forefront of addressing contemporary issues and challenges in policy using an interdisciplinary approach. Our cohesive team of researchers come from a diverse area of knowledge and expertise, to benefit each other, and the entire JGU community by facilitating collaborative research and training.
We collaborate with a number of national and international researchers and institutions to diversify our research, training and community impact profile. Our global reach helps us produce relevant impact and transplant best practices and useful reflections from our partners into our own research and teaching.
