Dr. Sajitha. U serves as a Assistant Professor at Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS), O. P. Jindal Global University. She did her PG in Applied Psychology from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She got selection in Infosys after campus interview. She has qualified State Eligibility Test (Kerala). She did her M.Phil. in Periyar University, Salem and was the Gold Medallist in the Psychology Department at University level. She has completed her Ph.D. in Psychology from Periyar University Salem with N.C.E.R.T Fellowship in 2021, by developing a scale on Parent- Adolescent Relationship. She has received Best Paper Award for paper, “Measuring Parent- Child Relationship (PCR): Development of PC (Adolescent Form)”, presented on 3 Days International Conference cum Workshop on Psychology, St Joseph’s College, Irinjalakuda, Thrissur, Kerala. She has about 8 years of counselling experience in different schools including private, government and central government schools. She has also served as an Assistant Professor in a well-known University. Her key teaching areas are Developmental Psychology, Positive psychology, counselling psychology and adolescent development. She has also delivered several motivational talks to students at Government schools and college students in Kerala. She has extended counselling support for parents and teachers too. She has completed a Certificate Course in Special Education (Learning Disability) from SANDWANA Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy – Kochi.
