VISION

Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences (JIBS) envisions to be an Institution of excellence and national importance. We aspire to receive a consultative status from the Government of India by facilitating autonomous research, training and dissemination of knowledge.

MISSION

JIBS envisages to benefit students, teachers and professionals by helping them to grow as well informed and critical thinkers and apply their potentials to educational opportunities and community engagement.

OBJECTIVES

To expand and strengthen interdisciplinary, collaborative research programs between behavioural scientists and other disciplines, including basic science and clinical research.

To assure a cohesive, multidisciplinary, critical mass of behavioural science investigators within well-funded research and training initiatives.

To conduct and apply the best behavioural and social science research and evaluation towards improving people’s lives, with a special emphasis on the underprivileged.

To provide training to school children, parents, principals, governmental officials, non - governmental organizations (NGOs), and universities in various areas of behavioral sciences.

To design and introduce interdisciplinary courses on behavioral sciences for JGU students; JIBS will offer an array of elective courses to the various schools at JGU.
