From the Principal Director’s Desk

Welcome to the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences, a beacon of knowledge and innovation nestled within JGU’s esteemed academic landscape.We are a value-based research institute at JGU and a member of the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS). JIBS is dedicated to engaging in behavioural science research that is multi-disciplinary and empirical in nature, leveraging on the university’s internationally accomplished faculty and innovative interdisciplinary curriculum. Our students and scholars benefit from a strong culture of interdisciplinary research and learning, practical exposure, and hands-on application. Our teaching and learning ischaracterized by a strong commitment to pushing the boundaries of excellence at the interface of psychology, rehabilitation, and allied behavioural science disciplines.

 

Research

At JIBS, we are dedicated to investigate at the frontier of critical issues in applied and experimental behavioural science. In collaboration with several national and international researchers and organizations, we investigate new and upcoming aspects of various disciplines in order to produce quantitative and qualitative research that will help national and international bodies in societal, legislative, rehabilitative and policy reforms. Our research has been published in several formats to make it accessible to a diverse audience including students, academics and professionals.
