17th ASIAN POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME on Victimology, Victim Assistance & Criminal Justice
17 Asian Postgraduate Programme on ‘Victimology, Victim Assistance and Criminal Justice’ aims to provide a comprehensive overview of victimology, the criminal justice system, and best practices of victim assistance programmes in a different part of the world. World-class
victimologists, criminologists, psychologists and legal practitioners are invited as resource faculty for this programme.
The objectives of the course are
(a) Emerging trends in victim justice, victim assistance, criminology, and victimology.
(b) To analyse and critically examine the laws, policies, and programmes from the standpoint of victim protection, rehabilitation, participation, and justice
(c) Promoting research and scientific rigour in the participants on victim advocacy, legal clinic, and outreach programme for victim support services. The experts would deliver a session of 45 minutes and an additional 15-minute discussion with the participants.
