Ashish Aman Sinha is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences (JIBS) at O.P. Jindal Global University. He has completed his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. His Ph.D. is on the livelihood choices of tribal households based on perceived tenure security. His interest area are Policy and governance pertaining to natural resources such as land; agrarian and social issues and Behavioral economics.

Research Experience

He has published research articles on Behavioral studies pertaining to rural and agrarian studies. Previously, he worked in the School of Economics at the University of Hyderabad and the Sociological Research Unit, at the Indian Statistical Institute, Giridih (a Branch of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkatta) as Project Research Associate.
