Positions available at CCFS
At present, we are looking to fill the following full-time position:
1) Research Associate or Research Assistant at the Centre/JIBS (minimum period of 6 months)
2) Student Editor for Blogs/Newsletter (minimum period of 3 months)
How to Apply
To apply for either of the editorial positions, please send an email with your CV, including writing/editing experience and letter of interest to Dr. Caroline Agboola (caroline.agboola@jgu.edu.in ). Your letter of interest could be part of your email body, please specify why you are suited to the role. For research positions, please send in your CV to the faculty-in-charge of the project you want to work on. It might also be preferred to attach samples of published works
Researcher at CCFS/JIBS
Eligibility: Courses in Criminology, Criminal Psychology or related disciplines, Proficiency in Research must be demonstrable. Ideal for senior undergraduates/recent graduates
Student Editor at CCFS
Eligibility: Familiar with criminology/forensic studies – enrolled or completed related courses. Adept or willing to learn use of online designing and editorial tools

Internships
We offer internship opportunities to both JGU & non-JGU students for 1- 3 months. These are usually unpaid positions where students receive a certificate of internship at the end of the duration. Under the guidance of a mentor, you will attend one-on-one sessions and obtain the necessary skills to participate in short term research projects.
Independent Research Papers
JGU students have the option to work on original projects with CCFS faculty through the semester in lieu of course credits. These independent projects must be mutually agreed upon between the student, the supervisor and the Academic Board of the school. Grading and evaluation will be subject to the student's school guidelines.
Student Positions
We also offer limited number of student positions at the Centre in various roles such as event organizers, blog and newsletter editors, contributors and research assistants. Some of these positions arise on need basis. Write to the faculty to express your interest in any of these roles.
