CENTRE FOR COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH

About the Centre

Recognising that community well-being is important to promote the success of societies, the Centre for Community Mental Health (CCMH) was founded in 2017 with an aim to provide education, training and to disseminate knowledge to stakeholders (e.g. students and professionals) for enhancing community wellbeing. The Center follows a preventive approach to promote positive mental health. In this pursuit, emphasis is laid on advancing research in domains of relevance – social/religious orientation, arts, music, clinical psychology – while maintaining an applied focus. CCMH will continue to address current mental health and social priorities, with the objective of making a real difference to the quality of health. The ultimate goal of the Centre is to channelise research efforts for innovating and transforming the well-being of communities.
